The reason why we make this audacious statement is because of the important role played by Vypeen island in enabling Fort Cochin in many of its endeavors! On this walking tour we walk through the streets of Fort Cochin understanding how the European trade connections influenced the demography of this place. This is the story of what prompted the Europeans to build a Fort Around Cochin and another Fort in Vypeen; about how the Europeans brought a slice of their life into Fort Cochin, married into the local populace leading to the rise of an interesting set of people who are popularly known as the Anglo Indian Community (The Eurasian Community). Join us on this tour to revel in these stories and interact with an Anglo Indian family over a cup of tea.
